Our background includes more than a decade of experience in atmospheric measurements, environmental observation systems and real-time measurement technologies, together with professional experience in the Finnish Meteorological Institute's Observation Services. This includes responsibility for surface weather observation infrastructure in Finland and the management of airport weather instrumentation and Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS) projects.
Our international experience includes the World Bank-financed Building Resilience to Climate Related Hazards (BRCH) Project in Nepal, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 meteorological stations and Automated Weather Observation Systems. Our experience also covers lidar-based observation methods, EUMETNET E-PROFILE collaboration, system integration, verification and validation, and the commissioning of demanding technical systems.
BorealDX also brings experience from safety-critical aviation and defence environments, distributed and simulation-based systems, interoperability and large-scale technical architectures. Building on this foundation, we develop intelligent sensing, environmental and agricultural monitoring, telemetry and AI-enabled analytics solutions, including the BorealGrow concept.
